Avengers: Age of Ultron's Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige Tease Hulk/Iron Man Battle

During a new interview with Empire Magazine, both Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and Avengers: Age of Ultron filmmaker Joss Whedon addressed the teaser art we've seen (and the beat from the Comic Con trailer) that showed Iron Man in his "Hulkbuster" armor.

While Feige was coy about it, Whedon said that the relationship between the characters has a major impact on how the story will play out and why the often-teased fight between Iron Man and The Hulk in the sequel is interesting to him.

"It's a bespoke suit. The back-up plan in case things go awry," Feige is quoted as saying.

"The Hulkbuster is from after my time [as a reader], but even I knew what a big deal it was," Whedon added. "It makes sense because there's no one who can really go up against Hulk, but more importantly, those guys are best friends, so what that battle is and what it means is fascinating to me."

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be in theaters on May 1.
