Kyle, a 7-year-old boy in Texas who is struggling with Leukemia, got to spend a day with Batman courtesy A Wish With Wings, the Arlington Police and Fire Departments. The heartwarming video found its way online and was, ultimately, tweeted to comic book fans this morning by Batman writer Scott Snyder. You can watch the video below, which includes a number of activities and culminates with Batman and his buddy Kyle getting recognized back at "Gotham City Hall." This, combined with the story of the "Route 29 Batman" popularized online earlier this month, showcases the impact that The Dark Knight has as an inspirational figure for kids, even if the official party line at DC is that Superman's the inspiration and Batman's the one who scares people straight.
