Ben McKenzie Thinks Fans Of The Joker Will Be Happy With Gotham Season 2

Gotham fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Joker in the second season of the Batman prequel series, especially after the apparent tease posted by Season 1 actor Cameron Monaghan. Star Ben McKenzie feels like that wait will be well worth it.

"We've now read the first four scripts, and Jerome [Monaghan's character] is definitely featured," McKenzie tells IGN. "I think for fans of Joker, I think you're going to be very happy."

Of course, Joker won't be the only new villain taking center stage in Season 2. Firefly, Flamingo, and a mysterious brother-sister duo are also getting ready to menace the city.

Gotham Season 2 will premiere Sept. 21 on Fox.
