Bryan Singer has released an image to Instagram teasing the script for the next film in the X-Men franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse.

You can't tell much from the image he released except the confirmed reappearance of certain elements that showed up in the X-Men: Days of Future Past post-credits scene. The mention of the Nile means that's we'll be returning to Egypt for at least one scene, and the script also mentions Apocalypse's Four Horsemen.

Bryan Singer returned to the franchise's director's chair for X-Men: Days of Future Past after departing from the franchise following X2: X-Men United and returning as a producer for X-Men: First Class. Singer and Fox would both like to see Singer return to direct Apocalypse, but rumor has it the negative press from a recent lawsuit brought against Singer may keep him out.

X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled for theatrical release May 27, 2016.
