Deadpool: New Info On Who T.J. Miller & Ed Skrein Are Playing

Earlier today, a Deadpool casting call was uncovered. It didn't provide the actual names of the characters, but it did provide detailed character descriptions.

Jeff Sneider from The Wrap, helped fill in some blanks when he recently tweeted, "FYI, TJ Miller and Ed Skrein are playing "Simon" and "Ridge" in DEADPOOL, whoever those characters may actually be..."

Our own Jamie Lovett went through the list and he believes 'Simon' is actually Deadpool's friend known as 'Weasel.' T.J. Miller, who stars in HBO's Silicon Valley, seems like a perfect for Simon/Weasel, who is described in the casting call as being "funny," "a bit slippery" and a "fast talker." Sounds like Miller to me.

Lovett believes 'Ridge' is actually the codename for 'Garrison Kane.' The casting call describes 'Ridge' as, "Big, muscular, dangerous, violent, vain, insecure and more than a bit of a dick…. but with a sense of humor." Anyone that has seen Ed Skrein in Games Of Thrones knows that description would fit him like a glove.

Deadpool is being directed by Tim Miller, and will star Ryan Reynolds and Gina Carano. The film open in theaters on February 12, 2016.
