Happy Birthday! RL Stine Turns 72 Today

Happy birthday, RL Stine! The author is celebrating his 72nd birthday today.

Stine, best known for his Goosebumps novels, surely has reason to celebrate this year. The Goosebumps movie is set to be released this month, starring Jack Black as Stine, based on Stine's novels!

Stine's other horror fiction series include the Fear Street, Mostly Ghostly, and Nightmare Room books. Prior to becoming a famed writer, he wrote short stories as a kid when at the age of nine he found an old typewriter in the attic. Sounds like he was destined to grace the world with spooky horrors!
