IMAX Releases Another Transformers: Age of Extinction Featurette

IMAX has released another featurette spotlighting the release of Transformers: Age of Extinction into IMAX theaters.

As described in a previous featurette, Transformers: Age of Extinction is the first movie to be filmed using the new IMAX 3D Digital Camera. Because of the lightweight nature of the camera, director Michael Bay was able to use it in fast paced chase and action sequences. When seen in IMAX theaters, these scenes will expand to take up the entirety of the IMAX screen.

"On a big scale movie you want to shoot with a big scale format and there's just nothing like that experience," says Bay.

Transformers: Age of Extinction releases into theaters and IMAX on June 27.
