It seems like only three days ago we were lamenting over the lack of any announced superhero movie previews at the upcoming 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Maybe, because it was only three days ago when we reported on how The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Star Trek Into Darkness would be featured at the MTV Movie Awards, but Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, and The Wolverine appeared to be sitting out the awards show. Now, we're happy to report that Iron Man 3 is actually joining the MTV Movie Awards party. MTV announced today that exclusive footage for Iron Man 3 will premiere during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. MTV also released an exclusive sneak peek at the footage, which we've embedded below. MTV is also running a promotion encouraging fans to tweet #unlockironman in order to power Iron Man's arc reactor and to release a never before seen clip from Iron Man 3. We're not sure if it's for the same clip that will be shown during the MTV Movie Awards or for a different clip. The 2013 MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, April 14 starting  at 9 PM ET on MTV.
