Get ready DC fans, here is your possible first look at Connor Hawke on CW & DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. Why are we putting “possible” you ask? Well a few months ago, we ran a story that we confirmed with CW & Warner Bros. that Connor Hawke was coming to the show. So here is the ripple.

In the comics, Connor Hawke is the son of Oliver and his college girlfriend Sandra (half-Black and half-Korean). He is an expert martial artist and like his father, he too is a master archer. At one point when Oliver was believed to have died, Connor took up the mantle of the Green Arrow.

When we ran our report, WB made sure to mention that the version of “Connor” showing up on Legends Of Tomorrow was not the character we’ve come to know in the comics. So with that taken into consideration, that leaves a whole lot of open ground for the showrunners tobuild a new and unique history for this character.

There’s one more ripple in the “Is he, isn’t he” question we’re posing. Ahead of the episode “Fail-Safe,” Arrow’s Stephen Amell tweeted out some images featuring the new character. When we ran our story, we figured this was our first look at Connor due to the nature of his costume (which is very accurate to the source material). However, the Arrow star visited our page and posed the question “Are you sure that’s Connor Hawke?”

Naturally, this blew the speculation doors wide open on if this character is just based on Connor and if so, he might have a totally new backstory and name. He could simply just go by the name “Green Arrow” for all we know. One popular theory is that this new character is the son of Diggle who was trained by Oliver Queen before disappearing on Star City.

So what do you think ComicBook.com readers? Are you excited either way? Check out the images from the episode below and let us know what you think.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursdays at 8PM ET on the CW
