iZombie: Two New Pilot Photos Released

The CW have released a pair of new photos in support of their upcoming pilot based on Chris Roberson and Mike Allred's DC/Vertigo series iZombie. In each, you can see series star Rose McIver as Olivia "Liv" Moore, although in the image at top she appears to be much more proximal to her "alive" state, whereas most of the series deals with a more pale and undead-looking Liv. The series, from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas, will follow the police procedural format, with Liv gaining the memories of the recently-deceased whose brains she consumes to keep herself from becoming fully a zombie. She uses those memories to solve a case of the week in the hopes of quieting the voices in her head and maybe learning more about the nature of her condition. The series is set for a midseason bow, so there's no trailer or premiere date yet. Don't be surprised, though, if at least one of those comes along sooner than later since the series is hotly anticipated.
