With Captain America: The Winter Soldier having been released in April and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. having just finished its first season, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now have their sights firmly set on the next MCU film, Guardians of the Galaxy. One of the most fun things for fans of these films to do is trying to spot all of Easter eggs hidden throughout. Director James Gunn spoke to Digital Spy about whether or not Easter eggs would be present in Guardians of the Galaxy. "It depends on how you define easter egg," he said, "but the amount of characters from the Marvel universe that we have in this movie, down to very, very minor characters, is enormous. We have way more characters in this movie than any other Marvel movie, and way more Marvel characters, so it is a lot of stuff. For me being an actual Marvel geek, it has been great." Sounds like fans should keep their eye out for minor cameos from Marvel's cosmic characters throughout the film. In Guardians of the Galaxy, in the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan.
