Scribe Jason Fuchs is in talks to pen the screenplay for Wonder Woman, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Michelle MacLaren has been announced as director for the forthcoming film while Gal Gadot is attached as the title heroine; the Amazonian princess known as Diana Prince.
As one third of DC's Trinity and one of the flagship titles of the company, this highly anticipated film is being deemed as one of the most important releases on DC's slate.
Fuchs is set to work with MacLaren on the drafts. Fuchs is also behind the upcoming Pan film and also has Ice Age: Continental Drift among his credits. In addition, he is also working on the Pan sequel.
The movie is scheduled to be released in 2017. Prior to the film’s release Gadot will portray Diana Prince in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, scheduled to be released March 25, 2016.
