Kevin Feige On The Spider-Man Reference In Marvel's Ant-Man

After the first press screening, Entertainment Tonight's John Boone let the cat out of the bag about Ant-Man containing the first reference to Spider-Man in the MCU.

Before you get too excited about this Marvel President Kevin Feige pointed out that the line in the film that references Spidey is actually unintentional.

"That line was old, actually," Feige told Zap2It. "All that was meant to be very generic."

That's a bit of a bummer. On the bright side, we'll get our first look at Tom Holland (The Impossible) as The Wallcrawler next year in Captain America: Civil War.

Marvel's Ant-Man hits theaters July 17, 2015.
