Filmmaker and comic book writer Kevin Smith will host a panel at next month's San Diego Comic-Con International which will see genre movie megastars William Shatner and Roger Corman both screening and discussing film projects they're currently involved in. William Shatner's Get a Life, a film loosely based on Shatner's autobiographical book that discusses the strange, sweet and sometimes scary relationship he has with Trekkies, will be screened at the show, alongside famed producer Corman's Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader. The latter, being the first-ever 3D film by Corman, the king of schlock movies for years, is a loving tribute to '50s sci-fi and will debut on Epix on August 25, nearly a month after Shatner's doc runs there July 28. Both films will be screened at the show, alongside a panel in which Smith will grill the filmmakers on these and other projects. The panel will take place at  7p.m. on July 14 at Reading Cinemas.
