DC keeps the variant reveals rolling with their Batman v Superman variant theme month. This time, it features Italian artist Massimo Carnevale.

Massimo Carnevale is best known for his cover work on Northlanders, and Y The Last Man, and now renders an angry Superman and a seemingly desperate Batman on the variant for Wonder Woman #50. The cover crackles with energy thanks to Carnevale’s dynamic pencils, and it made me chuckle how Superman is just holding that Batarang, almost like a pissed off parent would if they stepped on their child’s lego piece.
Also, can we get Batman a win on some of these covers? I’m starting to sense a theme here.
