Metroid: Zero Mission Coming to Wii U Virtual Console

Metroid: Zero Mission is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow, January 14. The game will be price at $7.99, and will feature off-screen play.

Metroid: Zero Mission first released on Game Boy Advance in 2004, and was added to the Virtual Console in Japan in 2014, and in Europe in 2015.

Zero Mission is an enhanced remake of the original Metroid, retelling the story of Samus Aran's first adventure with the updated gameplay first found in Super Metroid.

The game also introduced the fan favorite Zero Suit, a body suit worn by Samus under her armor. The suit was popular enough for "Zero Suit Samus" to be turned into a separate playable character in Super Smash Bros.
