Doritos has teamed up with Warner Bros. for an exclusive Batman vs Superman prequel comic that sets the table for the events in Dawn of Justice. On writing duties are Christos Gage, and art is handled by Joe Bennett (penciler), Sean Parsons (inker) and Hi-Fi (colorist).
The book, titled Upstairs/Downstairs, takes place on the day of Metropolis's statue unveiling, in tribute to Superman for defending the earth against his own kind. As the crowd wonders if big blue will show, Bruce and Alfred watch the coverage from the Batcave, and Alfred addresses the elephant in the room.
You can see the whole preview in the gallery, but I think the line on page 3 is one of my favorites regarding these two. I love the idea that Bruce looks down on him because he doesn't have to work at this, at least in his eyes. He was just given these powers and hasn't had to earn them, unlike Bruce who has toiled physically for years to get where he is.
Granted, he has a boatload of money to work with, so maybe don't throw stones Bruce.
You can get download codes for the comic in Doritos Family Fun Mix multipacks, which can be found exclusively at Walmart. The promotion starts on Monday.
