The company unveiled their cute companions earlier this week on, writing, “Disney fans, your collection just got a whole lot dressier! All-new Disney Princess characters are coming to Pop!”
“Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Tiana Pop! figures have been revamped and redesigned to show off their beautiful gowns! Look for a special sparkly Ariel exclusively at Hot Topic!”
These pint-sized princesses will surely have fans seeing the light once they unbox these adorable treasures. The Ariel figure is sporting a free-flowing pink gown while Belle dons her iconic golden ensemble. Cinderella’s teal ballgown comes courtesy of Funko’s own fairy godmother, and Rapunzel’s flower-infused style makes her aesthetic stand out. Oh, and don’t forget Tiana’s sleek satin dress! The form-fitting design is definitely the princess’ style.
The announcement comes shortly after Funko announced they were creating Mystery Mini figures for Disney villains. Despite their nefarious plans, the animated baddies are now more popular than ever, and Disney die-hards can get tiny figurines of them to prove it.
The small set features characters like Hades/Pain, Maleficent/Diablo, Cruella de Vil/Patch, Dr. Facilier/Voodoo Doll, Shan Yu/Hayabusa, Ursula/Flotsam & Jetsam, and more.
Each of the Mystery Minis come blind-bagged and will hit shelves this month. Funko is also debuting another diverse line of cute figures with their Pop! Pets! series.
Following a fan-poll, Funko created a series of POP dolls based on man’s best friend. The first series went on sale this month and features breeds like the Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, Dachshund, French Bulldog, Labrador Retriever, Beagle, Calico, and others.
