From comments that Daryl could be "prison gay" to outright denials that he's anything but straight, the seemingly-asexual Daryl Dixon's love life has been a source of speculation and entertainment for The Walking Dead fans at least since he and Carol started to have a spark when he was looking for Sophia way back in Season Two.
"There was I think an interviewer that went to Robert Kirkman and he said, 'I know you guys cross-reference some things from the comic book, and there's a character named Jesus who's a real badass in the comic book. Is Daryl taking that over? Is he going to be gay?' Kirkman said, 'I don't know. We've talked about it.' And I had a talk with Frank Darabont early, early on and he said, 'Would you do it?' and I said 'Hell yeah,'" Reedus said, saying that younger audiences didn't care about his sexuality, but men would be awkward and women would be upset. "If that's the story they gave me, I would rock that story," he added. "I am not afraid."
