This month, fresh off New York Comic Con, we're back with our first new podcast in a while--this one revolving around some cult hitmakers. With me this month are actress Diane Franklin, best known for The Last American Virgin, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Better Off Dead--and Robert Kirkman, the creator and writer of both the comic book and TV series The Walking Dead, among his many other endeavors.

Check out this week's podcast here!

Both of them were walking the floor at New York Comic Con, signing their new books--Diane has Diane Franklin: The Excellent Adventures of the Last American, Foreign Exchange Babe of the '80s while Mr. Kirkman has The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury with his collaborator Jay Bonansinga. The former is an autobiography, the latter is a sequel to the pair's previous bestseller, The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor. A third book in that series will be coming along soon.

This weekend, the pair are busy, too; Diane has a new show debuting tonight at 6 p.m. PST (that's 9 p.m. to those of us on the East Coast) on CRAGG. She'll be talking with horror babes of the '80s, having been one herself (she was in Amityville II: The Possession and TerrorVision). And, of course, AMC's TV version of The Walking Dead looks to come back for the third week of its third season and see whether the addition of Dish Network back to the equation can help lift the show over 10 million viewers for the second time this season--the kind of ratings that were unheard of in basic cable until just a few years ago, and which make broadcast shows like The Big Bang Theory blush. Please forgive some rough production and editing and just enjoy the content. First time back in a long while, all that.
