Remember a couple of weeks ago, when Marvel announced that Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles would run a program this weekend displaying art inspired by The Avengers? Well, whether you remember or not, that show has now begun and we've got some photos from today's opening. Joss Whedon and Clark Gregg turned out for the event, as well as a gallery packed with fans eager to see their favorite pop art characters rendered in fine art style. If you can't get enough of The Avengers (there seems to be a lot of that going on this week), check them out on the Panel Discussions podcast; we've got interviews with Clark Gregg (seen below) and the film's villain, Tom "Loki" Hiddleston.
