Variety reports, 32-year-old actor/comedian Tone Bell has landed a role in Season 2 of The Flash.

After Earth-2 villain Dr. Light (Malese Jow) snuffed out Central City Picture News' editor Eric Larkin (Tom Butler) earlier this season, the paper was in need of a new editor. Bell fill that hole, as he'll be playing Scott Evans, the brash new editor "devoted to hard journalism." He'll "push Iris (Candice Patton) and all his reporters to dig deeper into their stories and report the truth about what's really happening in Central City."

Currently, Bell stars in Truth Be Told, which appears to be on the chopping block as NBC trimmed its episode order down to 10. Bell is also developing a sitcom for FX that is based on his life. He is writing it, will star in it and will serve as executive producer.

Every secret comes at a price. The Flash returns Tuesday, January 19!
