X-Men Days Of Future Past: Magneto Rises In New Image

As summer draws closer, 20th Century Fox continues to tease what is rumored to be the studios second most expensive movie ever made (after Avatar). Earlier today, the official X-Men movies twitter account released the image above, along with the text, “Defy the past. Fight for the future. #XMen: Days of Future Past comes out in three months.”The new image shows the older version of Magneto, as played by Sir Ian McKellen, rising up off the ground, as a fire burns behind him. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, the ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.­X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 23, 2014.
