Folks are stacking their wallets at the beginning of 2017, as it seems like this might just be the biggest year for movies in a long time.

There are six films coming from Marvel and DC comics, three films starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and a number of reboots and franchise films set to debut.
With all the movie buzz in 2017, this year’s Super Bowl is bound to be filled to the brim with new trailers.
While the chances of getting a new Star Wars trailer are pretty slim, some others are pretty likely to show up during the came.
Here’s some trailers you should be ready to see when the Patriots and Falcons face off this Sunday night.
Transformers: The Last Knight
It’s already been reported that Transformers: The Last Knight would air a trailer during the Super Bowl, so this one is basically a lock.
The movie has only received one trailer so far, and it’s going to need more press to keep pace with all of the super hero films debuting over the summer.
The Super Bowl crowd is going to be all excited from the game, so robots beating each other can just add to the party.

Ghost In The Shell
Ghost In The Shell is another one that’s already been confirmed for the big day, so expect to see Scar-Jo on your screens.
Based on the insanely popular anime, Ghost In The Shell looks to be a sleeper hit in the box office this year. With a release date in March, the film is due for another trailer this week.
ย
Fate Of The Furious
The Fast and Furious franchise is one of the most popular franchises on the planet, and the hype just seems to grow with each and every film.
The eighth installment sees Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto turn on his chosen family. With Diesel, The Rock, and Jason Statham, this action packed thrill-ride is sure to debut some new footage during the game.
Coming from the folks who held a party in Times Square to air their first trailer, there’s no way they miss out on the opportunity to appear during the Super Bowl.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
The sequel to James Gunn’s ever-popular Guardians Of The Galaxy is set to hit theaters at the beginning of May – just a couple of monthsย from now.ย
With only one full trailer out as of now, the film is do for some new exposure. It doesn’t necessarily need help getting fans excited, but there will be plenty more footage before the movie is released.
Disney could afford to release a full trailer during the game, but they also may show a small TV spot, and tease that the full trailer is airing online. That would get them the exposure of the Super Bowl crowd, while not spending as much money.
ย
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Disney is going to be releasing a couple of trailers during the Super Bowl, and they’re probably going to be banking on the newest Pirates film.
Their other properties – Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar – all hold up on their own, but the studio may need help getting butts in seats for their original films.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has only received a teaser so far, so audiences don’t know anything about the story itself. They’ll likely use the Super Bowl to show the world what the film is all about – and reveal the return of Will and Elizabeth.
ย
Logan
With Logan only a month away – and being produced by 20th Century Fox – it’s likely we’ll see some more footage.
There’s speculation that the most fecent trailer is the final full-length footage we’ll see, so be on the lookout for one or two 30 second TV spots.
ย
Wonder Woman
Warner Bros. hasn’t been very active in the Super Bowl ad game over the past few years, so the chances of a new trailer from the studio are fairly slim.
That being said, Wonder Woman is the most likely movie the studio will plug if they choose to buy a spot.
The DC films have endured some critical backlash over the last few years, and Wonder Woman is the chance to turn that around. The studio may not want to pass up the opportunity to gain some more buzz.
ย
Baywatch
The Rock is everywhere these days, and his new Baywatch reboot movie is gaining some traction online.
This is one of the only truly comedic blockbusters of 2017, so they have a chance to corner the market on that front. A Super Bowl ad – possibly a TV spot paired with an online red band trailer debut – would further the separation.
ย
Alien: Covenant
The Alien franchise has enjoyed enormous success over the years, and the newest film sees Ridley Scott returning to the director’s chair.ย
Folks are going to see this film, whether or not there’s a Super Bowl trailer. The extra press couldn’t hurt though, and the early summer release is screaming for another batch of new footage.
ย
Life
Many audience members are slightly unaware of this upcoming sci-fi film, but it has the potential to be one of this year’s sleeper hits.
Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, Life could really surprise a lot of people. Think about the success of films like Interstellar and Gravity, but add in the star of Deadpool.
The world will need to know about this movie, and the world will be watching on Sunday.
ย
Despicable Me 3
People love Minions, so any chance to get those little yellow guys in front of an audience will definitely be taken.
The fourth installment (when you include Minions) of the Despicable Me franchise will be one of the most popular animated films of the year, but no one has seen much about it yet.
With many fans forgetting that a third Despicable Me is even happening, what better time to remind them that Gru is alive and well?
ย
The Mummy
Universal is beginning it’s connected monsters universe with the Tom Cruise vehicle, The Mummy.
While it’s got a bankable star that has proven himself at the box office, Universal may still need a big push to get fans to buy in to this giant franchise. A Super Bowl spot would launch the film to the top of any fan’s list of 2017 movies.
