As fans find out in Go Go Power Rangers #2, the first days of being a Power Ranger were anything but normal.

Ryan Parrott and Dan Mora’s walk through the Rangers’ early days doesn’t just focus on their in-costume adventures either. As you can see in the new preview, adjusting to normal life in Angel Grove didn’t go very smoothly either, especially for Kimberly Hart.

First dates are often brutal, but for Kimberly, that is an understatement. It’s bad enough to have the first date jitters, but vomiting in your date’s car? That’s a whole other thing entirely.

For those who prefer action, there’s plenty of that as well. While the Rangers took down Rita in their first encounter, they had a Zords to help them out. When they find themselves in the middle of Rita’s Moon Palace with no backup and a pissed off Goldar, it’s time to bolt.

You can view the new preview in the gallery.

Parrott recently spoke to ComicBook.com about how his series pairs with Kyle Higgins’ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, saying “Since they take place in the same reality, you have to maintain a certain level of consistency, but I’ve tried to make Go Go lighter in tone and focus each story on the smaller relationships.”

The personal moments are put in the spotlight, continuing the trend from issue #1, with Parrott adding “Why are these kids friends? What do they mean to one another? How do they balance all of the responsibilities? Those are the types of questions that play a big role in crafting the series.”
