Ranking The 10 Best Power Rangers Megazords
While the costumes and monsters are all critical parts of Power Rangers lore, the Zords continue [...]
No. 9 Storm Megazord (Ninja Storm)
The Storm Megazord is much more than its eye catching design, though it does excel in that department as well. The Megazord is made up of the three Ninja Storm Zords, and it can call upon them in several unique ways.
It can utilize its Blizzard Flurry by pulling the ripcord on the Lionzord while pulling on the Dolphinzord will produce the Dolphin Blast or Dolphin Laser. Stormy can also call upon the Power Spheres in a pinch, and if the need arises it can transform into Storm Megazord Lightning Mode, which sheds heavy armor for speed and reflexes.

When all the Ninja Academies in the world are destroyed by Lothor, only three young students, Shane, Tori and Dustin are not captured. Their Sensei gives them the powers to become the Wind Ninja Power Rangers and the daunting mission of saving the world.
No. 8 Turbo Megazord
While it took multiple Zords in Mighty Morphin to achieve their ultimate power form, the Turbo Megazord was pretty powerful on its own.
The design also gave the Rangers a very Transformers vibe, thanks to the vehicle themed Turbozords. Utilizing the headlights on its chest as a blaster cannon was an inspired choice, and that was only Plan B. Plan A typically revolved around the Turbo Megazord Saber, where the Megazord would sprint forward as he slashed multiple times.
This was typically enough to dispatch most monsters, but he could also pair up with Artillatron for heavy duty combo attacks if the situation called for it.
The official description for Power Rangers Turbo can be found below.
The pirate queen Divatox wages war against an all new team of Power Rangers equipped with futuristic cars built for high-speed battle.
No. 7 Omegamax Megazord (S.P.D.)
Power Rangers S.P.D. featured some inventive Megazord designs, but the Omegamax Megazord might just be the most powerful of the bunch.
As with all things S.P.D., the Megazord had a police department vibe to its paint job and overall design, including a slick red visor integrated into its helmet. Aside from its looks, the Megazord is extremely versatile.
The Omegamax Megazord can reflect almost any attack, and actually has Assassin's Creed style hidden blades on its wrists, though in this case there's isn't exactly anything stealthy about him. Still, when you see a Zord going all Ezio on someone from above, it's pretty spectacular.
You can find the official description for Power Rangers S.P.D. below.
In the near future, an elite police force of Power Rangers dedicated to justice fight to save the Earth from an alien invasion led by Emperor Gruumm.
No. 6 Zeo Megazord (Zeo)
There's a lot to love about Power Rangers Zeo, including its phenomenal Megazord.
Zeo's goliath was immensely powerful and equipped with the Zeo Megazord Saber. It could produce a devastating energy blast, but the Zeo Megazord was much more versatile upon closer inspection.
The Zeo Megazord would gain different abilities depending on which Battle Helmet it wore into battle. The default helmet was of Zeo V, which allowed use of the Saber. Switching to Zeo 1 allowed use of a large energy cannon which could also produce cyclones. Zeo II gave the Zeo Megazord twin laser cannons, while Zeo III afforded the Zord machine telekinesis and a blue laser. Finally, Zeo IV included a battering ram and gravity fields, as well green lightning bolts.
Not too shabby right?
The official description for Power Rangers Zeo is listed below.
Tommy, Billy, Adam, Rocky, Kat and Tanya are turned back to their teenage forms thanks to the Zeo Crystal. The Command Center is gone but the crystal leads them to the new Power Chamber and all but Billy take on new Zeo powers.
No. 5 Titano Charge Megazord (Dino Super Charge)
The Dino Super Charge Rangers had a bevy of weapons at their disposal, but few could outrank their Titano Charge Megazord.
In fact, this is one of the strongest Megazords ever created and can take endless amounts of punishment. If all that wasn't enough, Titano wields the aptly named Titano Ax (seriously, what did you expect?), which allows it to execute the Final Colossal Crush. The attack draws on the spirits of the Power Rangers and the 13 Auxilary Charger and reminds monsters of what the term "overkill" means.
Plus, just on the design front, Titano is one of the coolest looking Zords ever created, and his enormous Ax only adds to this mystique.

Just when you thought the Rangers' mission was accomplished there's an even more difficult challenge for them to face with the arrival of a new enemy.
No. 4 Legendary Megazord (Super Megaforce)
Seriously, who doesn't love Pirates and robots?
The correct answer is no one, and that's why the Pirate themed Legendary Megazord from Power Rangers Super Megaforce is sitting pretty towards the top of this list.
He's also extremely versatile depending on which Ranger Key he's using. When using the Jungle Fury Keys, he can unleash several animal spirit attacks. When using the Turbo Keys, it can use a Super Mega Slash attack, while the Megaforce Keys allow it to call upon the other Megaforce Ranger forms for a full assault.
When the Red Legendary Key is used, the Fire Storm Strike can be used, while the Blue Lightning Legendary Key allows use of the Lightning Aura Strike.
Plus, you know, it looks like a pirate!

Ruthless Prince Vekar has arrived with his massive alien Armada to conquer the earth. To face this new threat, Gosei gives the MEGAFORCE RANGERS special Morphers and Keys, which allow them to morph into SUPER MEGAFORCE RANGERS! Using these special Keys, they also have the amazing new ability to morph into any team of Legendary Rangers from the past.
No. 3 Samurai Megazord (Power Rangers Samurai)
The weapon of choice for most Megazords is a sword of some kind, but the Samurai Megazord does one better and wields a deadly katana and shield.
Yes, you can glance at this thing and know what it is going for, and that's the beauty of it. From the ornamental helmet to traditional sheathe for its katana, there's a lot to love about the Samurai Megazord. Still, the design is the big reason why people love it.
Still, don't count it out in the verssaitility department. It can pair with the Samurai Battlewing, the OctoZord, SharkZord, ClawZord, LionZord, and LightZord to form different formations, or all can form together along with the BullZord to form the Samurai Gigazord.
So yeah, it crushes, and it does it in style!

A new generation of Power Rangers must master the ancient Symbols of Samurai Power which give them control over the elements of Fire, Water, Sky, Forest, and Earth. Under the guidance of their all-knowing mentor and the aid of their devoted animal Zords, they battle the dark forces of the Netherworld and a mysterious Warrior bent on destruction.
No. 2 Predazord (Wild Force)
Everyone likes a good story of redemption, and that's part of why the Predazord is remembered fondly.
Plus, that whole "dark wolf" vibe doesn't hurt, but the Predazord is more than just a slick design. The Wild Force Predazord was originally controlled by Zen-Aku, but was later restored to the side of good by the Lunar Wolf Ranger.
The Predazord features a number of weapons at his disposal, one of which is a spear mode that he gains from the Giraffe Zord. If brute force is required, he can call upon the Black Bear and Polar Bear Zords to form the Predazord Double Knuckle Mode.
If things get really grim, the Predazord can form with the other Zords to transform into the Predazord Blue Moon, which gives it a new finisher called the Blue Moon Wave.
The Predazord has looks and weapons to spare.
The official Power Rangers Wild Force description is located below.

No. 1 Centaurus Phoenix Megazord (Mystic Force)
While it sadly didn't get used very often, the Centaurus Phoenix Megazord from Mystic Force is probably the most powerful Zord of them all.
At least that is how it was pitched. The Megazord is the product of the Mystic Phoenix and Catastros and wields a fire staff as the weapon of choice. Granted, it doesn't necessarily need it, as the Zord contains immense strength, even more than the Titan Megazord. It can also use its pony tail as a weapon (that's got to be a first right?), as it lights on fire and can be swung around at enemies.
When those fail, it uses its staff to great effect, and can even activate an ability that grants Centaurus additional power, because it isn't like it had enough already.
It only appeared twice on the show, but who knows, maybe it will make a return somewhere down the line.
The official Power Rangers Mystic Force description is located below.
