Could there be a bigger one-two-punch than Funko and Star Wars? The toy makers have taken the world by storm with their introduction of POP Vinyl figures. These cute collectables are made in the likeness of just about everything – TV, movies, sports, you name it – and their Star Wars lines are some of the most popular.

Each month, Funko releases a subscription box called Smuggler’s Bounty, which is themed around nothing but Star Wars. Each box features an array of collectables designed for Star Wars fans, and the company is going all out for their 2017 Bounty debut.

The January Smuggler’s Bounty box will contain collectables from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and there is one item that is highly-anticipated and guaranteed to come in the box. The company has designed a POP figure based on Han Solo and his TaunTaun.

To build excitement around the new released, Funko has released an animated short featuring the POP characters. The small trailer shows Han and his TaunTaun wondering around the planet of Hoth, and the scene is a shot for shot remake of the beginning of the film.

In Empire Strikes Back, Han ends up finding a beaten-down Luke Skywalker. In the POP version, the character stumbles across a giant-sized version of a Smuggler’s Bounty Box.
