Musical scores are just as important as the visual effects, editing, and acting. And few composers have had an impact on cinema like John Williams.

The legendary composer has had an impact on some of the most popular movies in the history of cinema including Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, and of course Star Wars.
Williams was recently honored during Harvard University’s 2017 commencement ceremony, where an a cappella group honored his legacy and impact on the film industry with a medley ranging across his storied career.
The Harvard student group called the Din and Tonics performed the medley of Williams most famous scores, including music from Harry Potter, Jaws, and Star Wars.
Williams has returned to Lucasfilm for the latest saga films in the Star Wars franchise, taking a break for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He returned to composing iconic scores, including Rey’s Theme, for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the second film in the new Star Wars sequel trilogy that began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. The film will deal with Luke training Rey to become a, and possibly the last, Jedi. Meanwhile, the Resistance, including Poe Dameron and First Order defector Finn, continues to fight against the First Order, led by General Hux, while Supreme Leader Snoke and his Dark Side follower Kylo Ren continue their mysterious plot.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
