With the $31.8 million earned on Monday, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has officially crossed $300 million at the domestic box office.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has now earned a running total of $318.2 million domestic, bringing its global total up to $573.8 million.

That total isn’t quite Star Wars: The Force Awakens money, but it certainly sounds like a win for Lucasfilm’s first Star Wars movie to not focus on the Skywalker saga or bear and episode number. A new hope for the franchise indeed.
