It’s no secret that Rick – along with the rest of fan-favorite characters on The Walking Dead – is preparing for a war against Negan. The treacherous villain killed some of Rick’s best friends, and he is finally ready to fight back.

However, there is one worrisome aspect to all of Rick’s preparations: The guy is hinging all of his hope on the word of a creepy woman who lives in a junkyard.
The ‘Scavengers’, as they’re called, have promised Rick they would help in his fight against the Saviors. Their leader, Jadis, has just asked that Rick provide them with a complete arsenal of weapons.
Why should Rick trust these random people? After all, they hid in the brush and watched others for a long time before making themselves known. These folks are as sneaky as they come.
Rick should really rethink how he’s handling this situation.
Think about it, why doesn’t Negan know about these people? If he’s got eyes and ears everywhere, he has to know they exist. There’s no way he hasn’t stumbled upon them a time or two. And, if that’s the case, why aren’t the dead?
There’s a good chance Jadis already knows who Negan is, and has a deal with him. They would surely rather fight on his side, and earn a place in the Sanctuary, before fighting with Rick, and being left for the junkyard.
Unless Carl is secretly mole for Negan, there is no one in a better position to defeat Rick than Jadis. It’s clear she likes to bargain, and a better offer is worth much more to her than a simple allegiance.
