AMC has released two new clips from Sunday night’s The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far special event.

The first clip, titled “Life Over Limb,” recalls the moment Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) was bitten by a walker and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was forced to chop off Hershel’s leg.
The second clip, “Bitten by Love,” goes back to the moment that Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohen) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) first began falling in love.
In The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far, the cast and producers of The Walking Dead recount the epic journey that the characters have experienced through the first six seasons of the show.
The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far is one part of the build up to the hotly anticipated, extra-long The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, as is the 88-hour The Walking Dead marathon.
The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere episode is titled “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be,” a title that has a very specific meaning for The Walking Dead. The last season ended with Rick and our group kneeling helplessly before Negan and his group. What Negan does will haunt those who survive forever.
In addition to Negan and the Saviors, The Walking Dead Season 7 has also teased the appearance of the Whisperers, another dangerous group that will come into conflict with Rick’s group.
The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
