Following the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead, AMC has released the first preview for the second new episode of the season.

Season 7 Episode 2 is titled, “The Kingdom” The official synopsis for The Kingdom reads, “For a number of familiar faces, a new, well-established community seems too good to be true.”

The Kingdom, which has been extended to 76-minutes, comes in on the heels the most anticipated and brutal episode of The Walking Dead to date. The Walking Dead‘s Season 7 premiere finally revealed Negan’s kill and, as it would turn out, the villain took out more than one member of Rick’s group with vicious strikes from his barbed wire wrapped baseball bat Lucille.

The Kingdom will introduce Alexandria to a whole new batch of friends. Ezekiel and his community, which includes a real tiger, will turn out to be allies to the Safe-Zone rather than enemies – hard to believe at this point.

Following The Kingdom will be episode three of Season 7, which is titled, “The Cell.” While The Kingdom will explore one new community, taking us to Ezekiel’s home, episode 3 will likely explore the Sanctuary in much more detail. Expect to see Carol and Morgan in week 2, as Carol heals from her wounds and looks to mentally bounce back from the dark depths of Season 6.

In any case, the episodes will continue without two beloved characters from Alexandria.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. For complete coverage and insider info all season long, follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter.
