The DC Universe is still in its infancy, but there are already a few standout characters. Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, continues to do his thing despite having to transition from one franchise to another. Superman is also making a name for himself by being more vulnerable than any of his predecessors, telling villains like Lex Luthor to stick it if they don’t like how he conducts his business. However, not even the Man of Steel can beat Luthor on his own, as Mister Terrific also plays a major part in thwarting the billionaire’s plan to tear Metropolis apart and take its resident hero off the map.

Seeing Mister Terrific shine on the big screen is great because he’s one of those DC heroes who often gets overlooked. Well, that’s not totally true because there’s at least one other franchise that sees something in him. Here are three Mister Terrific scenes in the Arrowverse that prove he was awesome before Superman.
3) Standing Up to Oliver Queen
Curtis Holt starts his run on The CW by helping Felicity Smoak out in the Arrow Cave. Having mad keyboard skills makes him useful to Oliver Queen and Co., but he wants more for himself. Using his gold medal-worthy athleticism, Curtis adopts the Mister Terrific persona and starts fighting crime alongside the Green Arrow.
Oliver’s recruits don’t always agree with his methods, especially when he tries to go off on his own and do something dangerous. At one point in Season 5, Mister Terrific, Artemis, and Wild Dog try to stop their boss from breaking into a prison. While they all get their butts kicked, it proves that standing up for himself is a weapon in every Mister Terrific’s arsenal.
2) Inventing the T-Sphere
Curtis works at Palmer Technologies for a brief period and meets Felicity, the company’s CEO. The two hit it off because they both know their way around a computer lab, and Felicity decides to fund one of Curtis’ projects, the T-Spheres, mini-drones capable of many things. The shiny objects spend a lot of time on the shelf, but once Mister Terrific is born, they find a second wind.
While out in the field, Mister Terrific deploys his T-Spheres to knock out the dangerous killer Vigilante, whom the Green Arrow can’t even seem to catch. They reappear during the “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover, helping their owner take down some Nazis.
1) Showing Up for His Friends After “Crisis on Infinite Earths”
The Arrowverse’s final major crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” extracts a heavy toll. Oliver loses his life during the battle with the Anti-Monitor, but he leaves Star City in good hands. All of Team Arrow gathers together in the final episode of Arrow to honor their friend and retrieve his kidnapped son, William.
Despite leaving Team Arrow a few seasons before, Mister Terrific suits up one more time to help get William back. He also attends Oliver’s funeral, seeing off the man who gave him the opportunity to be a hero.
The Arrowverse shows are streaming on Netflix.
