A new clip promoting the third season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead just surfaced online, including more hair-raising and gruesome zombie action to tide fans over until Rick, Negan, and the rest of the crew return for the main series this Fall.
The new season of the spinoff is set to premiere on AMC in June, picking up after some of the survivors were taken captive by a group of well-armed mercenaries. And though we get some minor glimpses of Luciana and Nick in their dire circumstances, the bulk of the trailer—courtesy of EW—consists of Madison kicking ass.
The leader of her own group of survivors has been shaped by the new apocalyptic surroundings since the beginning of the first season, and has since become hardened as necessary to continue living in the new world.
And like with most zombie stories this trailer drives home the point that while the zombies are a threat in this scenario, other people are the true monsters one has to deal with. And Madison seems to be dealing just fine.
Fear the Walking Dead was just announced to get a fourth season after this year’s slate of episodes wrap up, with main series show runner coming aboard as an executive producer.
Dave Erickson is departing as show runner after this year while Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg will come in to take over duties for the fourth season.
