WWE Superstar Paige, aka Saraya-Jade Bevis, has been suspended for 60 days due to another talent wellness policy violation, ESPN reported. WWE confirmed the suspension moments later. This is her second suspension in the last three months, and comes just about two weeks after her last suspension ended.

Paige's first suspension for violating the wellness policy came at the end of the summer, alongside her real-life boyfriend Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio left the WWE rather than serving out his suspension and returning, and rumors swarmed that Paige would be leaving the company behind, as well. She refuted those claims, saying she was ready to come back and get back into the highly competitive women's division. However, during her time between suspensions, she was not added into any ongoing storyline.

The WWE Women's division had a "revolution" in 2015, with several NXT Superstars moving onto the main roster and into the higher levels of competition. With the change back to the Women's title from the "Divas" championship, and the splitting of rosters between Monday Night RAW and Smackdown Live adding a second women's championship, there are more opportunities for female wrestlers at WWE than ever before.

WWE's talent wellness policy primarily governs the use of illegal substances, though WWE declines to release exactly why their talent is suspended in the vast majority of cases. A second suspension automatically doubles the length of time from 30 to 60 days, and the policy is three strikes, meaning a third violation would result in termination of contract.

Paige took to twitter to comment on the suspension, which she seems to be taking umbrage with.

"Same shit different day. Kids..Please don't get prescriptions or doctors notes. Not acceptable," she wrote. "Rules apply depending on your status," she added. That seems to imply that her suspension comes from a prescribed drug, and that others in the company get away with similar infractions without issue.

WWE has not commented further on the suspension outside of the confirmation that it's 60 days, effective immediately.
