History was made tonight as for the first time not only was a Women’s Championship defended within the confines of a Hell in a Cell, but also that the Women’s Championship was the closing match at a WWE pay per view event.

Without the bell even ringing to start the match, these two went at it like titans clashing. Charlotte power bombed Sasha through an announcer table, and still without the match even starting, Boston’s Favorite Daughter fought to her knees and was being escorted by officials, being mocked by Charlotte the entire time.
It seemed that the match ended before it began but right before Sasha was going to be called a forfeit, she pulled a page from Mick Foley’s book and ran off her stretcher and went after Charlotte like a bat out of hell. Charlotte attacked Sasha with a monkey flip and launched Sasha against the Cell wall. It seemed that the Queen of the WWE landed a ton of offense on her challenger, flipping her spine first into turnbuckle after turnbuckle.
Sasha went for the Bank Statement, but Charlotte overpowered the Boss and threw Sasha again to the floor on the outside. Once back in, Charlotte taunted the Boss with a handful of trademark Flair chops that kept Sasha down, but soon Banks was back up on her feet, slamming Charlotte into a chair, but the Queen had a counterstroke with slamming Sasha’s back into a chair.
The momentum swung back to Sasha with hitting a series of double knees to Charlotte’s face and channeling some of the late, great Eddie Guerrero with a double suplex and frog splash.
However, after going back and forth for a while longer, the competitors brought out the tables and Charlotte caught Sasha with the end of one right in the throat. While Charlotte was able to get Sasha in the Figure 8 Leglock, Banks countered with numerous chair shots to her opponent’s side, granting her release.
After going back and forth again, Charlotte had set up a table that she had intended to use and finally threw Sasha like a ragdoll on top of it. After landing the Natural Selection, Charlotte got the pinfall to become a three-time Women’s Champion.
