Last Monday night, Mick Foley accused Stephanie McMahon and Triple H of causing Seth Rollins to miss his second straight Wrestlemania. On Sunday night WWE claimed that Seth Rollins likely wouldn’t be able to compete at WrestleMania in April due to his knee injury, but one industry insider says that’s not the case.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rollins is going to be cleared to wrestle in time for WrestleMania, and says WWE’s claim was just a storyline element. Rollins is currently recovering from a torn MCL, which WWE is attributing to Samoa Joe’s attack on him earlier this month.

“Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that’s what they’re working towards. Maybe that’s why they didn’t tip their hand, but they are going with the idea that that match is still on and he will be ready for WrestleMania.”

Just this morning, we reported that Triple H is advertised to make his in-ring return at two house shows in March, which could be a sign that he’ll be warming up for the April 2nd pay-per-view.

If the match does finally come together, it will have worked out wonderfully for Rollins, who has been waiting for this payoff for some time now, and being out for a prolonged period of time would have killed the momentum they just started building up over the last month or so.

Seth will be returning to RAW tonight via a sit-down interview. It is very likely this is where he will shoot down the rumors of his demise and make his Mania plans clear.
