Beth Phoenix was one of the most popular women wrestlers of her generation. For six years she was a cornerstone of the WWE Women’s Division, capturing the Women’s Championship three times and the Diva’s Championship once. And now, there’s another title you can call Phoenix: WWE Hall of Famer.

Monday afternoon, WWE announced that Beth Phoenix (real name Elizabeth Kocianski-Copeland) will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2017, joining the likes of “Diamond” Dallas Page and the Rock n’ Roll Express.
Phoenix also has the distinction of being the second woman entering the Royal Rumble in 2010.
Dubbed the “Glamazon”, Phoenix displayed a distinct level of athleticism that was rare among the company in her time with a physical style that has only been rivaled with women competitors like Nia Jax.
Since retiring from professional wrestling in 2012, she married another WWE Hall of Famer, Edge, and they have two daughters together.
The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on March 31, the day before WrestleMania 33.
