Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance at NXT: TakeOver Brooklyn II was one of the most enchanting entrances in professional wrestling of the past decade. The King of Strong Style, and also soon-to-be NXT Champion, was accompanied by famed violinist Lee England, Jr. who serenaded the audience with his instrument and played Nakamura’s entrance music live in front of the Brooklyn audience. Nakamura’s theme music (entitled “The Rising Sun”) is considered one of the best, if not the best, and spent sometime on top of iTunes’ number one spot on their soundtrack chart. Die hard Nakamura fans will remember his New Japan entrance music quite well, but as one of those fans, I’m going to have to say his WWE theme is leagues beyond.

WWE has now released the TakeOver version with England performing the trademark tune, including his minute-long solo before he starts on Nakamura’s entrance music, on iTunes. Check it out below for a sample.

WWE has seemingly started taking their entrance music slightly more serious and incorporated more theatrics to accompany them. Take into consideration FinnBalor,Bayley,Sasha Banks, and most recently BobbyRoode. All instantly recognizable from the first note and it helps make their stars shine even brighter. Collaborators John Alicastro and Mike Lauri, who are collectively known as CFO$, have provided WWE with some of the best entrance music in recent years since they started working for them back in 2012 and it seems the duo show no signs of letting up.
