There’s rarely a night off for a WWE superstar, with television tapings, media events, and live shows populating most of their week. Smackdown Live superstar Becky Lynch is used to the grueling schedule by now, but she still didn’t plan on having an impromptu match in her kitchen.

Lynch is currently in Nashville, TN for an upcoming live event, and was just trying to make some Hawaiian chicken. Unfortunately for her, the can opener and pineapple tin, well, they had other plans. She posted her experience to Instagram Live and enlisted the help of followers to get the can open, who did help her make some progress, like the person who recommended she use the opener on its side.
That led to some forward movement, but unfortunately, she hit a brick wall after a bit. She did have some words for someone who said she was defeated, however, and that just simply was not the case.
“You know what, no, I haven’t been defeated. Somebody just said WWE superstar defeated by pineapple. I haven’t been defeated because I haven’t quit! I haven’t quit yet. Many other would quit. People would go off and buy themselves an automatic tin opener. Have I? No, I haven’t quit. That’s why I’ll be the two-time champ. This is why I will be the two-time champ. I can defeat you.”
Not long after she had to resort to a knife, and while she didn’t succeed in getting the lid completely off, she did succeed in getting the juice out of the parts already opened.
The moral of the story here is to never give up on your goals! Oh, and buy an electric can opener, because that will help you get there a lot quicker. Still, if Lynch had an electric opener, there wouldn’t be this awesome video, so there’s that.
