SmackDown Live's General Manager Daniel Bryan is a little more a year into his retirement from in-ring competition but still, manages to get involved with his Blue Brand coworkers.

During the dark match that followed SmackDown this week in Seattle, The Miz, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose faced off with Daniel Bryan as the special guest referee.

Nearing the end of the match, Ambrose stretched out his leg and was given advice on how to perform Bryan's Yes Kick maneuver. A fan took video of the bit, which you can check out below.

The interaction between Ambrose and Bryan has always been great, but seeing these two have this much fun is pure enjoyment. Even though Ambrose wasn't able to dish out a final blow, the Lunatic Fringe took out the A-Lister with a clothesline which took him over the top rope.

It's been good seeing Bryan being so happy in this role given that a year ago he was breaking down in live TV having to put away his in-ring career. Shows what you can do with the power of YES.
