The number 30 entrant into the Royal Rumble is either saved for a big surprise entrant or a huge letdown. This year, the WWE gave fans both. As the WWE universe was hoping for a surprise entrant of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe or even Kurt Angle, the WWE trolled them all by playing the music of their least favorite mega star, Roman Reigns.
Roman didn’t even have to win this Rumble to draw the disdain of the San Antonio crowd, as his mere existence seemed to be enough to fire them up. Reigns has been in the final two of the Rumble for the past four years, which might explain part of the reason people were happy to see him get a break from the big even this year.
