WWE Mandating Anger Management For Sin Cara

After the much discussed (albeit vaguely discussed) backstage/tour bus fight between Chris Jericho and Sin Cara the WWE has reportedly stepped in and mandated that the masked man attend anger management classes.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required and recommended), those leading the company have decided that the pattern of behavior regarding Jorge Arias, the man who wrestles as Sin Cara, has reached a point of intervention and are taking steps to resolve it.

Both Jericho and Sin Cara were involved with backstage incidents earlier this year as Jericho had reportedly confronted Brock Lesnar at Summerslam after Lesnar left Randy Orton bleeding and concussed at the end of a main event match.

Sin Cara was also reportedly involved in a fight with Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillains and has allegedly fought several other WWE wrestlers backstage, including Sheamus multiple times.

Wrestlezone reporter Justin LaBar alluded on Twitter that Sin Cara didn't have the leverage to escape the consequences, as he was a "repeat offender" and not particularly high in the WWE's pecking order -- whereas Jericho has been well-respected among his peers for working to better multiple careers.

The secondary issue is what would be keeping the WWE from suspending or simply firing Arias.

Jericho is currently partnered with WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, while Sin Cara has recently been involved with the newly formed Cruiserweight division and the broadcasting around it, which was, perhaps, the saving grace for him.

The show, called 205 Live -- an ode to the weight limit of 205 pounds -- will be a one-hour show on the Network which will air right after SmackDown! Live.

A one-hour, in-ring program called 205 Live, showcasing WWE's new Cruiserweight division, will premiere Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 10 p.m. ET, exclusively on WWE Network. The live weekly show will be called by Mauro Ranallo, the voice of SmackDown LIVE, and Corey Graves, color commentator for Monday Night Raw.

Coming off the success of WWE Network's recent Cruiserweight Classic tournament and the formation of the new Cruiserweight division, which airs exclusively on Monday Night Raw, 205 Live will feature Superstars that are 205 pounds and under, including: new WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick, as well as TJ Perkins, Rich Swann, Noam Dar, HoHo Lun, Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Gran Metallik, Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Gurv Sihra and Harv Sihra.

"205 Live is a natural progression to showcase the depth of our roster," said Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. "With world-class talent such as Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins, and Rich Swann, 205 Live will be a must-see program on WWE Network."

"With the addition of 205 Live to an already robust programming schedule, WWE continues to enhance the value of WWE Network for our subscribers," said Michelle Wilson, WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer. "We take pride in listening to our fans and delivering even more live, premium content that they are asking for."

With three hours for Raw, two for SmackDown!, one hour for NXT, and one hour for 205 Live, and four hours every two weeks for a pay-per-view and it is around 11 hours of serialized WWE programming a week.

Keeping a healthy -- and refocused Sin Cara -- in the works could be a big factor in keeping him arounnd.
