Another classic boy meets girl, boy beats up real life Ninja Turtle for looking at girl the wrong way story has come to its logical conclusion. The well publicized romance between exiled WWE star, Alberto Del Rio and current (we think) women's division superstar, Paige, has resulted in a big New Years engagement.

Rumors arose that the two were engaged last October, but Del Rio's first wife was quick to point out that the two were, in fact, still married.

Paige has professed her love for Del Rio time and time again on her various social media accounts and the relationship was even the subject of a recent episode of Total Divas. Since the two started dating, Del Rio was asked to leave the company for allegedly getting rough with a backstage employee while Paige has been suspended for violating the company's wellness policy.

There have been rumors that Paige was set to return to WWE TV in a non-physical role, but many believe her relationship with Del Rio has soured the company on putting her back in a high profile situation. If Paige does return to the ring, she'll have a new weapon to blind her opponents with.

We certainly wish the couple all the best as they continue their journey together.
