WWE's Luke Harper Cast In Upcoming Horror Movie Mohawk

Luke Harper might be on a hiatus from the ring due to injury, but that hasn't stopped the bearded brute from working hard as he joins the cast of Mohawk.

Directed by Ted Geoghegan, Mohawk is being billed as horror-action story. The plot is about a young female Mohawk who finds herself in a cat-and-mouse chase after one of her tribe attacks an American soldier camp. She must use both natural and supernatural resources to fight back and protect herself.

"Mohawk is hard-hitting action-horror that subverts traditional genre tropes while delivering a timeless tale of good versus evil," Geoghegan said. "We look to deliver a horrifying home invasion film where the home is North America itself."

Alongside with Harper, Hemlock Grove actress Kaniehtiio Horn, who is actually Mohawk herself, will also star in the film. Twilight's Justin Rain, Looper star Noah Segan, Ian Colletti, Robert Longstreet, Sheri Foster, Ezra Buzzington and Andrew Sensenig will costar.

Filming is to start this week, but not release date has been announced.
