Captain America: Civil War Ant-Man Featurette Released

As we near closer and closer to the Blu-Ray release of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel has been steadily releasing bonus content to hold us over. The latest of these is a featurette from the film, focusing on Ant-Man.

Following the success of Ant-Man in 2015, Scott Lang immediately became a fan-favorite character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Portrayed by America's favorite funny-man, Paul Rudd, Lang appeared alongside Captain America in his fight against Iron Man.

Rudd was interviewed about the role, and he admitted it was a little intimidating. "When I showed up here, for the first time, I was doing a scene with Captain America and Falcon and all [of] them. It was like, 'Woah.' I turned into a bit of a ten-year-old."

It must be hard to remove your inner-fanboy, even when yo are the star of your own successful franchise. His reaction worked out well, however, as Scott Lang felt the same way when first meeting the characters in the film.

The featurette also interviewed executive producer Nate Moore about how the talents of Ant-Man stack up against the other Avengers.

"I think on the face of it, if you think of Ant-Man, you think, 'Man, he's gonna be over-matched when he faces the other Avengers.' But, the truth is, the power to shrink is something that shouldn't be overlooked."

You can see Ant-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, and all of your favorite Marvel heroes when Captain America: Civil War is released on Blu-Ray September 13.
