Aquaman clearly stole the show in the Justice League trailer, but ever since it's been all about Mera leading up to the Aquaman solo film. Some new footage shows that the character isn't one to be messed with.
That's something an unfortunate drunk on the street found out, courtesy of footage captured by @Amazonheroicon. The footage shows a scene where Mera is walking down the street when a drunk man approaches her. He seems to have a beer in his hand as he walks toward her, only for it to explode as she passes by.
She seems focused on the building
Fans will likely see her abilities explored in greater detail in Aquaman, as she is only supposed to have a small cameo in Justice League.
The footage can be seen below.
Aquaman director James Wan recently described what Amber Heard brings to Mera, saying "I think Amber will bring that sense of strength, but at the same time, we also want someone who has a sort of feminine quality to her as well. She’s a bit of a contrast to Momoa, who’s more of a muscular machine almost."
Aquaman currently has a 3.85 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipating rankings, while Justice League currently has a 4.17 out of 5. The official description can be found below.
