The Game Awards are taking place next week, and it promises to be an exciting event, filled with great award presentations, along with surprise reveals that will shake up the industry.

You'll be able to watch all the action as it happens live on the Internet, as the show will be streamed across a number of networks. However, if you're in the Los Angeles area, you've got a chance to attend the show live – provided you follow Nintendo on Twitter.

The publisher has announced a giveaway, in which it'll be handing our a pair of tickets to five lucky fans for the awards show next week. All they'll need to do is retweet the Nintendo tweet that's below, and you'll be included in the drawing to win the tickets. NOTE: the contest is for show tickets only, it doesn't include travel to the event or anything like that. For that, you're on your own.

Nintendo notes that no purchase is necessary to enter the contest, though it is only limited to residents of U.S. and Canada, 18 years of age or older.

There's a great deal of speculation that Nintendo will have some sort of reveal at the event next week, considering that the company will already be present, what with a number of its games being nominated for separate Game Awards. They haven't confirmed anything, but we have seen reveals from the company in the past, like the previous presentation of gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before it came out for Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
