A new Pokemon card has a powerful new effect that's never appeared before in the game.

Japan is getting ready for the release of the "Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" expansion, the latest set of new Pokemon cards. One of the cards in the new set is the powerful Dialga-GX card, a Dragon-Type card with an overpowered GX ability.

Once per game, players can use Dialga-GX's "Timeless" attack, which does a whopping 150 damage to their opponent. "Timeless" also allows players to skip their opponent's turn, allowing the player to go twice in a row.

There's never been a Pokemon card that allows players to take two turns in a row, and this could open all sorts of potential strategies. Players can potentially do a whopping 230 damage to an opponent's Pokemon by having Dialga attack twice, or they could switch out Dialga with another Pokemon to do even more damage.

While the "Timeless" attack is powerful, there are limits to its abilities. As a GX-Attack, players can only use "Timeless" once per game. And if they use the "Timeless" attack, they can't use another Pokemon's GX attack, which prevents a player from rolling multiple GX attacks on an opponent in a single "turn".

Dialga's GX attack even makes sense within Pokemon lore, as Dialga is known as the "Temporal" Pokemon and can manipulate time by speeding it up, slowing it down, or even stopping it all together.

The "Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" expansion will contain lots of interesting new cards, including powerful new "Prism Star" cards and several potentially game-changing new Trainer cards. The expansion comes out in Japan in December and will arrive in the United States and Europe in February 2018.
