Of the various toys and merchandising featured in the collection, one thing stood out: a second version of the Black Panther costume (referred to as the Golden Jaguar suit) has been revealed. It is a suit that will be worn by the militant villain Erik Killmonger, who is played in Black Panther by Creed star Michael B. Jordan.
Below you can get a look at the Golden Jaguar costume design, and some additional details about Black Panther:
In Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger is a dissident member of the Wakandan kingdom, and was described to us by producers as, "sort of a charming antagonist, who doesn’t agree with how T’Challa is running things, frankly [...] that puts T’Challa in a difficult situation. Killmonger is a voice of a different side of Wakanda.”
Killmonger will eventually join forces with Andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaue to attack Wakanda for its vibranium stockpiles. From the Black Panther trailer we know that Killmonger and Black Panther/T'Challa will duel for control of Wakanda, and that will involve them suiting up and battling in these different vibranium suits.

Details that separate the Golden Jaguar suit from the Black Panther suit include:
- Golden highlights as opposed to silver ones, representing the Jaguar.
- A fanged mask
- Booted feet, instead of the claw-shaped feet
Even though most Marvel movies feature some version of "the hero fights his evil reflection," the fight sequences between T'Challa and Killmonger that have already been teased look thoroughly satisfying and exciting. We look forward to seeing the Golden Jaguar suit in action.
Black Panther will be in theaters on February 16, 2018.
